What a fun project that was! Going to an actual funeral home for the poster shoot was quite something.
The piece is a musical. and a funny one as well. What is funny about death? Nothing at all. Unless you work at the Schneider funeral home. There you can only endure it with humor - with black humor. Since the death of his father, David has had to run the bankrupt family business alone. Only the Polish domestic helper Dakmar stands by him. His older brother Tim ran away from the family eight years ago to study the Kama Sutra in India. Now Tim is broke and comes back home to pick up his inheritance. But there is no inheritance. David, Dakmar and Tim urgently need money - an idea is needed. By mistake, the three smoke the ashes of a deceased person. Mr. Schmitt turns out to be the best drug of all time. Tim has the idea to sell the stuff: Mr. Schmitt as shit. Business is going splendidly until the police find out about the machinations of the three hobby dealers. A coffin-like musical for all the bereaved.
