When BeQuadrat - Bettina Bogdany and Bernhard Viktorin - asked me to film their Christmas cabaret Punschlos Glücklich and create a trailer for it, I didn’t hesitate for long. Having collaborated with them before, I knew it would be worth it.
I recorded the full show and edited a trailer designed to capture its wit, rhythm, and charm. Cutting it was not only a lot of fun, but also a great lesson in comedic timing - in comedy, pacing is everything, and the edit became all about finding exactly the right moment for each beat to land.
I always enjoy working with Bettina and Bernhard. They are remarkably skilled, versatile, and original performers - the kind of artists who are, in the best possible way, overqualified and still far too underappreciated.
