For Vienna Theatre Project’s production of Robert Schenkkan’s Building the Wall, I developed the poster, flyer and campaign materials for a political thriller set in a near-future America shaped by escalating anti-immigration policy.
The visual had to be direct without becoming vague or merely topical. Trump’s familiar silhouette becomes both figure and barrier: a graphic wall holding the title in place, crossed by barbed wire and marked by the violence the play asks its audience to confront.
The deliberately bold illustration gives the campaign an immediate political charge from a distance, while the smaller details point back to the human consequences behind the rhetoric.
