For Alexander Goebel’s cabaret-concert Männer, I developed the poster and flyer with photographer Andrea Peller. Her initial idea was to place many small versions of Alexander in different poses within one image.
I built on that with a poster that plays with flatness and dimension: small figures climb, lean against and occupy the title, while the bold lettering gives the image its structure and stage.
The result reflects the show’s central question: can several versions of a man exist in one person? With live music, humour and self-irony, Männer looks at the roles men are asked to perform and the contradictions that come with them.
